COVID-19 Update

To All Passengers,

As Coach Atlantic Maritime Bus passengers, your safety has always been and remains a number one priority.  We want to provide you with information regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and what Coach Atlantic Maritime Bus is doing in response.

A Pandemic Preparedness document has been developed, ensuring that our COVID-19 preparedness and protocols are aligned with current public health authorities and Transport Canada’s recommendations.

From the beginning of the coronavirus, we have been in contact with other transportation agencies in the Province to ensure we are aware of and aligned with guidance regarding public transportation.

  • We have increased our disinfecting practices for motor coaches in addition to existing infection control practices such as hand sanitizer availability in stations and heavy-duty cleaning of motor coaches. We have implemented additional sanitization practices on our motor coaches that include a disinfecting wipe down of all public touch areas on motor coaches after every trip.
  • We have followed Social Distance guidelines and reduced the capacity on all of our vehicles by 50%.

It is all our responsibility to work together to reduce the spread of infection. We encourage people to practice social distancing measures (avoid crowds), wash hands with soap and water, cough into elbows and to stay home and contact your doctor or local health unit if you exhibit symptoms associated with COVID-19.

To help you continue to travel with ease, we will be allowing passengers who made a reservation between March 3rd, 2020 and March 31st, 2020 the ability to change their reservation without any fees. The ticket change or refund must be made prior to ticket expiry (date and time of original scheduled travel).

The Public Health Agency of Canada has assessed the public health risk associated with coronavirus as low for Canada. We recognize that this is an evolving issue and we are committed to providing you with up-to-date information as it becomes available.

In response to COVID-19 and the temporary shutdown of the connecting bus company in Quebec we are operating on a reduced schedule beginning Monday, March 30, 2020 We will have service on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
