Maritime Bus Extends Deadline Northern New Brunswick

Mike Cassidy owner of Maritime Bus is encouraged to hear the discussion amongst elected officials and staff from the Province and the Municipalities when it comes to the importance of having Maritime Bus provide essential Community Busing in the Province of New Brunswick.

Maritime Bus Reducing Service within New Brunswick 2021 

Maritime Bus recently celebrated its 8th Anniversary December 1st...certainly a milestone in our Region’s Intercity Bus world...however the Anniversary was marked with significant 2020 operating losses after the Company navigated through nine months of unprecedented COVID-19 travel challenges, while at the same time trying to stay true to its Founder’s belief of “our Region needs a Bus Service”.

Effective January 15, 2021, the Board orders that the surcharge remains unchanged at 0.0% for all passenger fares for inter-city motor coach services provided by Coach Atlantic/Maritime Bus. The approved schedule of fares, incorporating the surcharge, is attached as Schedule A This surcharge shall remain in effect until such time as changes are made by the Board.
